Current Home: Brandon, MB With Konektis: 2021 - Present Vocal Part: Baritone Age: 23 Occupation/Studying: Currently working in retail part time while attending Brandon University for his Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences, while minoring in Mathematics and Theatre. He plans on seeing what opportunities arise with this, with a plan to pursue his Educational degree in the future. Musical Background: Cameron has been actively in music activities for over the last decade. From band to joining the Crocus Plains High School choir programs, he’s had his past repertoire consistently growing. Cameron is an alumnus of WMYC, attending in 2018 and ’19. He’s been in multiple musicals, all performed with CPHS, from his first Rock of Ages, to his final, Be More Chill. He is excited to be in the chorus for Something Rotten this fall with the Virden Theater Company. Favourite Music: Pop, indie, and folk are the genres frequently listened to by Cameron. Artists like Jeremy Zucker, Sombr, Noah Kahan, and Hozier, just to name a few. He is also a sucker for some good 2000’s hits, especially the rock of the era! Hobbies: Playing video games, just lounging around watching the next big show or movie, or just driving around town with the music on and the windows down. Fun Fact: Cameron loves landscape photography. Making sure to take a picture at any gorgeous landscape or cityscape that he sees. Visiting NYC was a once in a lifetime experience, and the pictures that came from it are a great souvenir! Short Biography: Born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba, Cameron has always had a chance to experience a wide range of musical adventures. With the Brandon University having such a vast music school, the local music community is outstanding! From watching one of the local theatre companies produce a show with his mom, or going to the Konektis’ concerts when in high school. Music has always flowed in him, and has been a large part in his childhood and adulthood. |
