I grew up in Winnipeg, fully intending to be a veterinarian. But thanks to the influence of an inspirational piano teacher, I ended up moving to Brandon and earning my Bachelor of Music. After university, I met and married my husband and moved onto five acres of farmland north of Rivers. My time is divided between teaching piano and guitar, spending time with my husband and three sons, and leading music at a local church.

Hobbies: I love deep conversations, going for walks, and taking too many pictures! Other hobbies include: reading, writing/blogging, songwriting, and painting.

Fun Fact: In 2021 I wrote and released my first ever single, "Strange Times", written during the first lockdown of 2020.
