Been playing guitar since the age of 12. Favourite Music: Sacred choral acappella, bluegrass, barbershop heavy metal and classic rock Hobbies: Making candy, playing guitar, playing poker Fun Fact: Sang the national anthem in a barbershop quartet at a Toronto Blue Jays exhibition game. Darrell grew up around music at family gatherings and got seriously involved in different types of music and playing instruments by junior high. By high school he was a seasoned singer and formed a male quartet in grade 11 that specialized in sacred, southern gospel and barbershop. He was the frontline director of Chordial Invitation, Kelowna’s Barbershop chorus and played lead guitar in award winning bluegrass band, A Day Late and a Dollar Short, in Kelowna. |
