Current Home: Brandon, MB With Konektis: Since 2024 Vocal Part: Tenor 2 Age: 21 Occupation: Studying Environment Science Musical Background: I have been immersed in music since I was three years old, with all my musical knowledge self-taught except for my participation in choirs. In the Philippines, I joined my school choir from Grade 5 to Grade 8, and during Grade 8, my choir won two provincial Christmas competitions. That same year, my friends and I formed a school band and entered a songwriting competition. After moving to Canada, I continued singing in the school choir from Grade 9 to Grade 12. I also joined the Westman Youth Choir in 2018, 2019, and 2021, earning a full-tuition scholarship in my first year. Additionally, I participated in the Provincial Honour Choir in Winnipeg in 2019 to 2020, receiving a scholarship in my second year to attend a music camp at the Peace Garden. I’ve always been passionate about instruments, teaching myself the drums, guitar, piano, and ukulele. My love for music has been a constant throughout my life! Favourite Music: I love almost every type of music. Although if I had to choose, ballads and gospel-like songs are my go-to when singing. Hobbies: I love going on walks, attending concerts, hitting the gym, and travelling. Fun fact: I auditioned for The Voice (Teen Edition) 2017 in the Philippines. |
