Along with Konektis conductor Michelle, Mike was a charter member of DV8, a vocal jazz ensemble at Brandon University in the 80's. He's also an alumni of the Westman Youth Choir, Manitoba Youth Choir, and the National Youth Choir (1986). He has Bachelor of Music from Brandon University where he majored in voice and appeared in several productions, including the Four Note Opera, Paper Wheat, and Godspell.

You might also recognize Mike as the MC at the Brandon Jazz Festival vocal jazz venue. 

Mike lives in Winnipeg, works as a data engineer and consultant for Imaginet, and enjoys the weekly drive for rehearsals in Brandon (as long as the weather cooperates).
