Tyra Zander completed the B.Mus/B.ED Degree at Brandon University in 2021. She focused on middle years and senior years instrumental music with a major in Classical and Jazz Saxophone and a teachable minor in Biology. She completed her Level 1 Orff at University of Manitoba. When she isn’t teaching, she enjoys performing with the Virden Ukulele Club, and playing Baritone Saxophone with the Humphrey Jazz Orchestra.
 
Tyra is in her 5th year teaching grade 5 and 6 general music, and grade 7 beginner band, grade 8 band, grade 9-12 Concert and Jazz Band in Virden, Manitoba.
